Catholic Professionals in Masaka Diocese have been asked to be exemplary while serving in their different work places. Bishop Jjumba implored the professionals to work diligently as they pray to God in all their endeavors. He mentioned that from our different professions, the children we look after get inspiration to take on different professions such as being a journalist, teacher, a doctor, a lawyer among others.
The occasion which coincided with the celebrations of the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker at Kitovu Cathedral on Monday, the Bishop reminded the professionals of the dangers of destroying the family system and the environment that generations and humans might be wiped out.
The rainy day started with celebration of holy mass presided over by the Bishop of Masaka Diocese, Rt. Rev. Serverus Jjumba assisted by the Chancellor of the Diocese, Rev. Dr. Ssekabanja. The Bishop reminded the Catholic Professionals to be “Good Shepherds”, salt and light at their places of work, society and the world at large.
