Bishop Stensera Vocational Institute Celebrates Successful Graduation Ceremony in Bwanda

Bwanda was filled with joy and celebration as Bishop Stensera Vocational Training Institute held its recent graduation ceremony, marking an important milestone in the lives of its students. The event brought together graduates, parents, guardians, staff members, religious leaders, and distinguished guests to celebrate the achievements of students who successfully completed their vocational training programs.

The ceremony was presided over by the Bishop of Masaka Diocese, Rt. Rev. Serverus Jjumba, who commended the graduates for their hard work, determination, and commitment to acquiring practical skills. He emphasized the importance of vocational education in addressing unemployment and empowering young people to become self-reliant and productive members of society. He also challenged parents and communities to appreciate vocational training as an essential pathway to economic development and personal growth.

A total of 140 students graduated after successfully completing courses in various disciplines, including tailoring and garment design, catering and hotel management, hairdressing and beauty therapy, computer studies, motor vehicle mechanics, and other technical and vocational fields. The graduates received certificates recognizing their competence and readiness to enter the world of work or establish their own enterprises.

During the ceremony, institute administrators highlighted the school’s commitment to providing quality vocational education that equips learners with practical skills, entrepreneurial abilities, and strong moral values. They encouraged graduates to utilize their knowledge and talents to create employment opportunities for themselves and others within their communities.

Parents and guardians expressed gratitude to the institute for nurturing and equipping their children with valuable skills that will help them build successful futures. The colorful ceremony featured prayers, speeches, cultural performances, and the presentation of certificates, creating an atmosphere of pride and celebration.
