ASSOCAP Officials visit Ecobrixs

The county leaders led by Deputy Pookino Kato Abdullah together with ASSOCAP Masaka Diocese led by their Chairperson Mr. Kagombe Mugwanya on Thursday 1st June visited Ecobrixs, a plastic recycling factory located at Kigamba Masaka to inspect its activities. The leaders were taken through the different items that are manufactured from wasted plastics.

The leaders appreciated the Company’s role in both preserving the Environment as well as employing the youth thereby thanking the Vision bearer Fr.James Ssendege the Pastoral cordinator Masaka Diocese and his team for the great initiative.

As the Sazza department in-charge of Agriculture and Environment, they do hereby encourage farmers to adopt the Plastic poles in fencing off their farms since they are more durable than the Usual poles and will reduce on unnecessary tree cutting and thus Environment protection.

In attendance was the newly crowned Miss Tourism from Masaka District.
